At GE HealthCare I watched a senior commercial director run the same forecast review every single week for two years.

Same format, same questions, same accountability, every single week.

At month six it honestly felt like overkill, and a lot of us thought so.

By month eighteen the team could call the quarter close enough that it stopped being a debate.

That accuracy didn't come from better data or smarter people. It came from running the same process long enough that the patterns became visible.

Here's why that matters well beyond the forecast. A business that can predict itself is worth more than a business that can't, even at identical revenue. Predictability is what lets everyone else plan around you, so lenders price it, boards relax about it, and anyone putting money into the business pays for it.

A lot of teams restart their process every quarter and then wonder why nothing compounds.
